Educate a Girl
Today and She will Create Lasting Change in the Next Generation!
With the new year 2022, the Guanlan Scholarship enters its 22nd year
of keeping our village girls in school. For the past two decades,
we’ve been able to witness our Guanlan Sisters get the education
they need to make their path to a flourishing life.
"Mama Guanlan, my dream is to go to an art college, become an art
teacher, I promise I will keep up my grades, if I have questions I
will ask, persevere for my dream, repay my father.
Mama Guanlan, thank you for all your help, it is said, 'a drop
received in need will be repaid by a whole river.' I will repay you
with my good grades, I know that this thank you to you is far from
enough, but I just want to directly tell you, thank you." Beiru,
grade 6.
2020-21 scholarships to
13 Guanlan Sisters in primary,
17 in junior secondary,
10 in senior secondary school,
1 in university,
a total of 41 girls.
2021-22 scholarships to
41 continuing Sisters,
6 new primary Sisters.
Over 20 years,
133 Guanlan Sisters
23 studied in post-secondary institutions and colleges.
The Foundation donates
US $75 for primary & junior secondary scholarships,
$150-300 toward senior secondary school toward private tuition.
