浦瑛：我在白宮

2019年即將到來，我在白宮看到一幅幅金碧輝煌的節日畫面，點亮了華盛頓的漫漫長冬，也啓動了即將到來的2019年的我的美國夢。12月4日，我收到一封來自趙小蘭秘書的郵件，邀請我去參觀白宮，我知道這是好朋友張曼君給我的機會，張曼君吿訴我：再忙也要去，並且可以住她家，這次去了華盛頓DC，參觀了白宮，讓我親眼目睹國都聖誕季熠熠發光的氣氛，在美國白宮這個頗有歷史紀念意義的宮殿里，我感受歷屆白宮主人的工作學習和生活，感受到白宮主人肩負全國人民命運的重任。
   這次前往白宮的是來自美國各大電視台，電台和報社的人員，大家在參觀白宮和交通部後都成了朋友。
  來自美國洛杉磯鳳凰電視台副台長曾世平給我印象深刻，每到一地總有可以學習的人。

Dear Ms Elaine Chao,

Thank you for inviting me to the White House Holiday Open House. I’m delighted and very honored to have received your invitation. It was a pleasant self guided tour and I got to experience what the famous White House 2018 theme AMERICAN TREASURE looks like in the Christmas season. I see the First Lady Melania Trump and all the volunteers’ efforts and hard works for decorating the White House.
At the same time, thank you for successfully managing the operation of the Department of the Transportation. We had a wonderful tour in your department and learnt a lot of the facts of the DOT devotion to the country. We really appreciate your service to the country.
