join our Science Team @ OCCS and offer an AP-Physics course in the
Fall semester. The school will start on Aug 25. Please register for

Our Ohio Contemporary Chinese school has proven success
in helping our kids not only learn and maintain basic Chinese
language skills, but also achieve top performances in their regular
school education and standardized testing. To sustain and extend the
impacts of our co-curricular courses (such as the math courses), the
leadership of the school has moved forward to establish a curriculum
committee that will oversee a continuous development and improvement
of the existing co-curricular courses and substantively contribute
to their development. The committee consists of a group of
experience educators and researchers lead by Prof. Lei Bao from the
Ohio State University (http://www.physics.ohio-state.edu/~lbao/).
Our first endeavor this fall is to launch a new sequence of
AP supplemental courses, with AP-Physics as the first pilot course,
which is typically the weakest in most US high schools. Starting
from next spring, a wider range of AP courses will be offered based
on the demands and suggestions from parents and students. Please

爲了更好地幫助我們的學生在傳統的課程學習和測試中獲得並保持優秀的成績,中文學校設立了一個專門的學術委員會來指導和實施課程及敎學方面的改進與發展。目前重點在于規範和改進學歷敎育的輔助課程(例如數學)。在改進現有課程的同時,我們也在準備開展各類AP課程的輔助課程。目標是幫助學生學好這些課程並取得高分。今年秋季,我們將試點AP-Physics
(因爲美國高中的Physics一般比較弱)。希望有興趣的家長來咨詢和報名。對於今後的課程準備,也請家長利用下面這個反饋鏈接給我們提供指導和建議。
