喜慶元宵之夜, 有空請回祖國看看

〔本報訊〕中國旅美科技協會匹茲堡分會(CAST-P)于三月十一日晩上在賓州匹茲堡大學校園內的軍人紀念堂舉行元宵晩會,10位來自中國的著名專業演藝人員,應邀為匹茲堡的華人帶來非常精彩的節目。他們和匹兹堡的600多位中外朋友,一起度過了愉快的元宵之夜。
按照中國人的過節習俗,舞獅爲元宵之夜拉開了序幕,緊接着是中國旅美協會-匹兹堡分會主席陶力強向大家致以節日的祝賀。他祝大家新年快樂,身體健康,萬事如意,閤家幸福!
來自中國的演藝人員侯耀文、奇志、張偉、張大禮、牛成志爲大家表演了相聲、小品,逗得全場充滿笑聲。尤其是奇志和張偉演出的「靑藏鐵路之旅」,觀眾對張偉高超的口技模仿火車聲、鳥叫、牛叫、嬰兒啼哭聲等非常喜歡,不斷報以熱烈掌聲。名歌星李慧珍、朱樺、老狼爲大家獻上了他們的成名曲。也是巧合當晩是李慧珍的生日,台上台下一起爲她合唱生日快樂,讓她十分高興,她希望匹兹堡的華僑們有空請回祖國看看。當老狼上台時,他的歌迷問他有沒有女朋友,有位觀衆還上台擁抱了老狼,這位小慧觀衆來自西安,在新加坡住了十年,到匹兹堡梅隆大學讀了二年書,她吿訴本報記者,很高興這么大牌的歌星能到匹兹堡來,實在是難得的機會,她還説,她今晩太高興了。元宵之夜是由著名電影、電視演員朱時茂和住在匹茲堡的王麗雅共同主持的。 |

Chinese New Year Greeting
Happy Chinese New .Year and Lantern Festival!
It is my great pleasure, as a president of CAST-P, to welcome
you all tonight for celebrating the 2007 Lantern Festival.
Lantern Festival, also known as Yuan Xiao Festival, it takes place
on the fifteenth day of the first full moon, and marks the end of
Chinese New Year festivities. Last in a series of springtime
celebrations, this "second New Year" is widely celebrated by families
all around China. The Lantern Festival dates back to shrouded legends
of the Han Dynasty over 2000 years ago. Today is the day of Lantern
Festival. We are gathering together tonight for celebntting this
Festival.
It is our great honor and sincere pleasure to have a national level
performance group from China with us tonight, and will provide us
great performances. These actor/actress' are all famous in China.
Thank them for kindly accepting our invitation and agreeing to perform
for us tonight.
On behalf of CAST-P, I would like to acknowledge and thank our major
sponsors who have supported us in this event.
I would also like to take this opportunity to thank our CAST-P board
members, and members as well as volunteers for coming together and
making this event possible. They worked hard and made great efforts to
make sure this event successful.
