Letter From The Director
Dear Friends,
I am so glad that you can come and share in this Inaugural
concert. This group has proven to be a labor of love and it is
very satisfying to see it come so far. We have been fortunate to
have great musicians join and wonderful people support us.
It is my hope that through this concert you can be introduced to
many wonderful interests that are very rare in America. I am
confident that you will enjoy the music that I have loved for so
long. In addition to celebrating the music of New Moon I am
pleased to present three good friends of mine as guest artists.
We are truly lucky to have Youliang, Lai Ma, and Baohui
performing with us this afternoon. They are among the finest
musicians I've had the honor to work with.
I look forward to meeting many of you today and in the future.

心愛的浦瑛:
謝謝華報的報道,我們才知道“新月樂團”在Pittsburgh的演出。我們非常高興趕去聆聽了一場動人的音樂會,特別是指揮Colin
O’Donohoe是從來沒有去過中國的美國人,能組織一團卡內基大學的硏究生,基本人員都屬於對音樂的愛好,勤練了一年半(沒有薪水)全體都是義務人員,當晩音樂會表演出色成功,眞的令人鼓舞,實在難得。
我很希望能安排他們來克城,因爲克城也有一批和他們一樣的音樂愛好者,他們自己組織樂團,如果他們能和在一起演出,希望我這個願望能實現。
