跨越時空的情緣 永遠葆存 永遠珍惜

2003年3月,來自中國北京科技館的二十位藝術家和工作人員,在克里夫蘭大湖科技館做了六個月的大型中國古代傳統技術展覽會CHINA 7000 YEARS OF DISCOVER.他們帶來了中華民族科學發現和技術發明,藝術家們還在展覽會現場表演歷史悠久的傳統中國民間藝術,再現了華夏文明。在克城展覽會開展的日子里,北京科技館的藝術家和工作人員與克城的華人朋友結下了深厚的友誼,代表團領隊張鴻起女士更是對克城的僑胞和本報有着特殊的情意,雖然分別四年,但我們保持這份友情。友情天長地久。

老朋友相逢北京

       由於我的工作繁忙,只有兩個小時的時間和劉先生夫婦聊天,我們講中國的變化,中國的環保和資源,中國的奧運;講臺灣的局勢,大陸的政策;講我們在一起的友情,改革開放讓思想得到解放,也讓我們同胞之間沒有距離無話不談,感情都是眞情的流露。
      兩個小時的侃談,都是對祖國建設和發展的關注,都是對祖國統一的企盼。從聊天中也知道在美國的新聞對中國的報道很少,尤其是好的報道,所以蒲英你的工作太重要了。

  劉先生還把在南開大學愛國主義報吿會上的即興詩詞《和我一般樣》背誦給我聽,“巨人沒説話 擎起雙手托水壩,巨龍沒説話 駕起神舟冲九天,我也沒説話 何必要説話, 淚水畫成一幅畫......”字里行間,凝聚着一個愛國華僑的中國情緣,時時刻刻把自己一顆心奉獻給祖國母親。他創作的奧運歌詞《心在北京》,字字句句里抒發着對祖國母親舉辦奧運,能躋身于世界之林的自豪與激動,情懷在中國,根在中國,一個與祖國同呼吸共命運的愛國華僑怎么不讓我爲此動情,眞的,當時我是雙眼含淚,心靈顫抖。我一定把劉先生的歌詞創作轉到奧組爲歌曲徵集辦公室。
      每當我見到從克里夫蘭來的親人心里高興極了,半年的交往,這份情緣永遠葆存,永遠珍惜。

Friendship

We took the liberty to stop by Beijin to visit our dear friends/artists who visited Cleveland 2003 at the Science Center and gave their hearts and soles to show us our3000 year's of great Chinese Culture.The night we arrived, LoDi - secretary of the group and teacher Long (dough doll artist) came to our hotel and invited us for dinner, after that we went across the street visited their department store which is giant, has every thing you can imagine of from local stuffs to international products.The next day, Gia - Chop artist accompanied us to LiuLi Factory which I longed for a visit and we walked trough the narrow Wu Toon, John and I had such a warm feeling walking on our soil where we were born. leader of the group, who is such a warm person, we kept in touch for all these time, she contacted all the artists that morning, at night they all came, except a few live in the other part of the country, all came to the welcoming party for John and me, it was such a joy seeing them again, the friendship and warmth we received didn't seemed we had been apart each other for almost 4 years.We talked about the old times, laughter and joy fill the evening. Next day took us to visit their Science Center Museum, it's very big and so much to see, so proud to see their first Space ship which is at the center of the building then we visited their future site which is right at the Olympic site, the lead construction manager leaded us to see this new building which is even much bigger then their old site. next day the calligrapher, Lee took us to the airport with his lovely wife and daughter, each step he make sure we were okay, all the way to the gate and waved a long good bye to us. The two day visit was brief but the warmth we received will linger with for a long long time.They wanted us to bring their greetings to all their friends in Cleveland where they left their hearts in 2003.      在這里,張鴻起在北京對克城的華人朋友們説 在這里我們再一次親自感受到了:我的朋友,雖然旅居國外,但你們的根在中國,你們的情緣永遠割捨不斷,你們的心永遠與祖國同呼吸、共命運。

     你眞的很辛苦,但這也是你成功所在,功夫不會辜負有心人,我總是在默默的祝願你,好人一生平安!好人永遠好運!好人永遠有人相助!好人幸福永駐!
