MotivAsians First Annual BBQ -- Saturday, August
26, 2006
MotivAsians is proud to present our first smokin' BBQ picnic on
Saturday August 26th at 2:00 PM. The lip smackin' picnic will take
place at the scenic Upper Egdewater Park on Lakeshore Blvd. in the
heart of downtown Cleveland. Food, games, laughter, and lots of
friends highlight this event.
If you are coming to eat, cook, or both please bring $10.00 per person
OR contribute the suggested items below. The list is just a
suggestion, so if you have some crazy dish that would make Emeril cry,
please feel free to bring it. We suggest these picnic items:
Food: marinated wings, ribs, sausages, kabobs, hamburgers, shrimp,
scallops, etc.
Salads and any grillable veggies: corn, zucchini, onions, bell
peppers, mushrooms, etc.
Desserts/Fruits
Beverages: Beer, water bottles, punch, soda, etc.
Entertainment: games, cards, etc.
Everyone is encouraged to make their reservations as soon as possible,
preferably by Wednesday, August 23. This will help organizers ensure
we have enough food and beverages based on attending numbers and
funds. RSVP the number of people in your party and include the items
you plan on contributing OR how much you are donating to the picnic
funds. For those who wish to donate cash, please note that we will
collect your contribution on the day of the event. The organizers will
shop for picnic groceries based on the available fund expected from
your responses, so please let us know asap if your attending status
changes.
MotivAsians members, non-members, family and friends are all welcome!
