Chan, Ying Pu,和 Margaret Wong在俄州大學(Fisher School of Business)爲MBA
(Master of Business Administration)
學生舉辦了現場講座。四位主講人都各自經營他們的企業,他們談在經濟風暴給企業帶來不利的情况下,是如何克服困難的。
本次演講主要是由周亮同學策劃邀請,他有十年旅店經理的經驗,他選擇繼續再讀二年MBA學科,因爲他想增加更多知識。當日四位講解員分別介紹了他們的企業和在工作中遇到困難如何解決等等,當日學生提問踴躍,氣氛熱烈,伊利華報社長浦瑛感謝學生們給她這個機會和他們一起分享辦報的艱難。

Judy Huang
Judy Huang is the founder and president of 889 Global Solutions Ltd,
which helps companies implement profitable strategies for Greater
China, such as aiding with direct factory contracts, increasing
sales to China through better positioning, or helping a company to
shift manufacturing to China. Ms. Huang moved to the United States
from China with her parents in 1981. She is fluent in Mandarin,
Cantonese, and English. She has more than ten years of international
business experience, specializing in China. Ms. Huang earned a BA
degree in Business from Boston College and attended the MBA program
of China Europe International Business School (CEIBE) in Beijing.
Ray Chan
Mr. Chan has more than 32 years of consulting experience on a wide
variety of projects ranging from civil, bridge, structural
engineering and surveying to construction administration. As founder
of Consulting Engineering, Inc., he has been the driving force
behind the company's growth and success. He has a Bachelor of
Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois, and a
Master of Engineering from Virginia Polytechnical Institute. He is a
registered Professional Engineer in Ohio, Minnesota and
Pennsylvania.
Ying Pu
Ying is the publisher for the Erie Chinese Journal, a biweekly
newspaper that serves the Chinese American communities of Cleveland,
Columbus, and Pittsburgh. Ying is a native of Shanghai. She came to
the United States in 1991. She founded the Erie Chinese Journal in
2002 primarily to serve the Chinese business community. Ying
currently resides in Twinsburg, OH with her family.
Margaret Wong
Margaret Wong was born in Hong Kong. Because of her personal
experience as an immigrant, Margaret Wong combines qualities
Americans admire: an immigrant's work ethic, an entrepreneur's
drive, a keen sense of resourcefulness, and the utmost compassion
for those in needs. In more than 25 years of practice, Margaret Wong
has built Margaret W. Wong & Associates Co., L.P.A. into a firm
nationally and internationally renowned for its knowledge in
immigration and nationality law. She is the current co-chair of the
Immigration Law Committee for the National Asian Pacific American
Bar Association, and chair of the Cleveland Bar Association's
Immigration Law Section.
