SRO Entertainment is coordinating a
Masterclass by 23 year out classical pianist, Lang Lang entitled
"Conversations and Playing with Lang Lang." This will be held on March
26, one day before the beginning of his North American recital tour at
Severance Hall (March 27th) from 5PM - @ 6:00PM.
Three piano students (Matthew Ahn student of Sean
Schultz at CIM, Yi Hao Wu student of Gerardo Teissoniere at CIM and
Jessica Wen student of Derek Nishimura at CIM) have been chosen to
perform for Lang Lang during the Masterclass.These students will be
criticqued by Lang Lang for instruction to the other students of the
Masterclass.
This opportunity is being given by Cleveland Advertising Association
(presenter of the concert on March 27), SRO Entertainment and Steinway
& Sons and will be held at the Mattlin-Hyde Piano Company, 5109
Mayfield Road, Lyndhurst, Ohio
It is open to any level of piano student who has
purchased a ticket to the concert through Severance Hall (216.231.1111
or www.severancehall.com ). Once a concert ticket has been purchased,
phone Mattlin-Hyde Piano Company at 440.449.6180 to make a reservation
for a seat. Seating is limited for the Masterclass.
Lang Lang will play, teach, critique and answer questions. |
