The OCA Greater Cleveland chapter hosted an AAPI Census Caravan

Thank you to everyone who came out to support the National Asian American Pacific Islander Census Caravan!
The OCA Greater Cleveland chapter hosted an AAPI Census Caravan in Cleveland as part of a nationwide effort to Get-Out-The-Count with our community partners Asian Services In Action, the City of Cleveland Asian Liaison Chia-Min Chen, Erie Chinese Journal to raise awareness about completing the 2020 Census online or by phone. We also assisted folks with Voter Registration and Vote-By-Mail applications in English, Mandarin, Cantonese, and Toisan. We also handed out Census swag in Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese, and Tagalog in addition to the fresh-baked buns from Koko Bakery.
The Census Questionaire is short and takes about 10 minutes to complete. It's important for everyone who is living in the U.S. to fill out the Census so that we can get an accurate count. The U.S. government, non-profits organizations, and even businesses use Census data to allocate resources and services. If our community is undercounted, we could lose out on funding and necessary resources.
If you haven't done so, it's not too late. Complete the Census online at 2020Census.org or by phone in English at 844-330-2020.
