老朋友相聚紀念黃媽媽

   3月8日國際婦女節的那天,我們在裝修一新富麗堂皇的黃媽媽女兒的飯店東方之珠,做紀念黃媽媽活動。當天來了五十多位客人,我們還記得黃媽媽爲我們準備2016年最後一天的夜飯就在這家飯店,因爲當時黃媽媽身體不好,新的飯店比原來的飯店面積要小,媽媽準備分兩天請客,孩子們覺得這樣太累媽媽,決定還是一天請客,可惜媽媽沒有等到那一個年夜飯。

    黃媽媽永遠活在我們的心里,記得在川味軒工作的一位服務員問我:看了伊利華報,説黃媽媽走了,是眞是假,因爲他幾天前還看到媽媽帶了一幫人來吃飯,他説這個老人家眞好,善良大方,非常想念她,一個平時不曾相識的人都會惦記黃媽媽,我們相識10年20年30年或者更長的朋友對話媽媽的尊重和懷念那是沒有辦法用語言來表達的。

   黃媽媽的故事很多,她慈悲善良,謙虛智慧,一個永遠想到別人的人,我忘不了她對我説:辦報紙太不容易,你是月月難過,年年都過....
    黃媽媽,相信您在天堂里一定能聽到我們在一起想念您的聲音,我們還沒有過完第一次對您的紀念活動,章秀芬已經準備第二次要在您生日舉行活動,我默默地在想,等您一百歲生日,爲您做一個特別的紀念活動。(浦瑛)

  感恩!謝謝你的感謝之詞!這次有55位親朋好友參加了聚會。比較圓滿地達到了預期的效果。
  首先感恩黃伯母在天之靈的庇佑!感恩鄧蔓芝女士的倡導和提議!感恩浦英女士,舒海倫女士,薩太太等的指導!感恩舒海倫女士,李家珍女士,連貴美女士,Lanie女士幫忙收錢!感恩Rose提供的豐盛且美味的晩餐!感恩每一位女士和先生的支持!
總而言之,這次活動比較圓滿的完成是大家群策群力的結果!歸根結底都是大家對黃伯母深深的愛戴,深深的思念!

   黃伯母上天有靈一定很高興大家聚在一堂紀念她,就像以往她要請我們一起熱鬧一樣。Margaret ,Cecilia ,Rose 及 George 你們母親是位不同凡響的人,謝謝你們讓我們都分享到她的恩愛。

Dear Friends,
Thank you, thank you and thank you for taking your valuable time to come to the memorial dinner for our mother. And thank you for the speeches given by our special friends. It really made the event exceptional. I can feel the warmth, affection and respect that we all had for mom.
And Mitzi, you cake is totally out of this world! So tasty and flavorful, it is the best cake I had in quite a while. If mom was there, she would definitely ask for seconds.
Rose, you kitchen did a marvelous job. The food was exquisite and abundant. That would exactly be how mom would have it, more, more and more!
Pu Ying, your speech was very moving and touching.
Xufeng, thanks for organizing the dinner, I am sure we all enjoyed seeing each other, reminiscing about the parties we had when mom would love to gather us together.
What a special lady! We miss her dearly, but knowing she is with dad now and many good old friends, I feel a sense of peacefulness and comfortableness. We are the lucky ones that have met her and received love from her.
