Dear All,
Thank you for supporting the CWAC and being the board members in the past
four years while I served as the Board President. I appreciate your
attendance of yesterday's board meeting.
Congratulations to Ying Pu who volunteered to be our President and won
more than half of board's votes as our new President.
I greatly appreciate Joann, Amy Lee, Julia and Doris who worked with me
in the past four years as well as other board members who supported
our organization. As a team we worked together to have annual
women's day celebration, picnic, workshops, craft and cooking
program. I hope under Ying's new leadership she can recruit more
board members to serve our community. Due to Ying's other engagement
after our yesterday's meeting the board didn't discuss the Women's
day event nor Ying nominated any board members. As a board
ex-President I will be an advisor as all other previous Presidents
while I have been at the Board for 16 years and as our Board
President for two terms in the past.
I have worked every year to renew our members' discount card by
contacting businesses for giving our members discounts. The discount
list was ready and Thank You for Amy Lee who have put the list in
the discount card template format. At this time while Ying is our
New President, the discount card is ready for her to take over as
well calling for a board meeting. Attached is a list of discount
card that several members have asked for.
In order to keep our professional image and to continue serve our
community as volunteers I hope we support each other and not to
bring negatives to the board but to contribute positive efforts in
