A free program at the Auditorium at the Cuyahoga
Community College Metropolitan Campus, 2900 Community College Avenue
in Cleveland CLEVELAND, OH— The City Club of Cleveland will host
Jacqueline Edelberg for the upcoming City Club in the City on the
Cuyahoga Community College Metro campus. Cleveland Metropolitan
School District Chief Academic Officer, Eric Gordon will also speak.
City Club in the City brings traditional City Club Forums into the
community.
Jacqueline Edelberg has been the driving force behind the
Nettelhorst School’s dramatic turn around, a story that has received
national media attention. A community organizer and writer, Edelberg
has consulted with and led workshops for schools, parent’s
associations and neighborhood groups on how public schools and
reformers can galvanize communities to improve public education.

Eric Gordon, native of Toledo, is the Chief Academic Officer for the
Cleveland Metropolitan School District. Under Gordon’s leadership,
the Cleveland Metropolitan School District has sought student
achievement gains by implementing a district-wide scope and sequence
curriculum, developing a differentiated school accountability
improvement model, and implementing the district’s conditions for
learning “Humanware” strategy.
