Non-English Speakers Highest in Northeast Ohio

as the above graph shows, over the last few years, a trend has emerged --- with highly-educated immigrants moving into solon, westlake, and other cities like strongsville, twinsburg, etc. --- bringing New Economy skills, high incomes, entrepreneurship, global connections, ethnic cuisine, and a civic spirit.in helping raise awareness on the immigrant dividend, these are cities that can be profiled, and their mayors interviewed, on the positive impacts that these new residents bring to the community. interviews with immigrant professionals talking about the amenities they find in these communities would be compelling. a peek into the public libraries in these communities would reveal programs and materials that help welcome the immigrant newcomers and connect them to the community and to the native land.nice story/video on Indian influx helping to revitalize pittsburgh:

finding a way to tell these stories of inclusion, success, and family amenties in Northeast Ohio will help all institutions in the region recruit/retain foreign-born talent, from intl students to high-tech professionals, to entrepreneurs and investors.
telling the stories will help change attitudes
