DESCRIPTION
Job Summary:
The Asian Fry Cook reports directly to the Asian Lead Cook. Prepares
Asian recipes in an accurate and timely manner to provide guests with
a superior quality product.
Starting hourly rate: $12.00
Essential Job Functions including the following but other duties may
be assigned:
* Prepares food, including hot entrees for our Asian dishes, to
specification in an accurate and timely manner to provide guests with
a quality product.
* Prepares food items as directed, ensuring each order sent out is
uniform and consistent.
* Controls food production to include proper cooking methods, cooking
time and temperature, ensuring sanitation, handling and storage of
prepared food and leftovers.
* Demonstrates competent product knowledge by correct storing and
handling of all perishables, maintaining quality, security, value and
integrity.
* Responsible for fast and clean servicing of all menu items to the
servers.
* Oversees proper care, storage, use and cleaning of all tools and
equipment.
* Demonstrates competent product knowledge by correct storing and
handling of all perishables, maintaining quality, security, value and
integrity.
* Prepares for a rush period of work without falling behind incoming
orders.
* Effectively communicates with other team members, including service
and kitchen maintenance personnel.
* Able to provide relief for Sous Chefs while providing assistants in
all kitchen areas and other duties as assigned.
* Maintains assigned station in a clean and sanitary condition in
accordance with department service standards and job functions.
* Recognizes and corrects any product discrepancies and variations in
quality, standards and specifications.
Qualifications:
* High School Diploma or equivalent required.
* Must be 21 years of age.
* Minimum 1-2 years previous experience in high volume food service
operation/preparation is preferred (Asian Cuisine preferred).
* Must have excellent customer service/communication skills.
* Must have knowledge of kitchen sanitation, operation and maintenance
of kitchen equipment.
* Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift, including
holidays and weekends.
* Must present a well-groomed appearance.
Physical, Mental and Environmental Demands:
* Must be able to work independently.
* Must be able to sit, stand or walk for long periods of time (4
hours).
* Must be able to respond calmly and make rational decisions when
handling employee conflicts.
* Must be able to maneuver throughout all areas of the property and
from floor to floor either by stairways (minimum of 20 steps) or
escalator.
* Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.; and, have the ability
to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop and kneel.
* Respond to visual and aural cues.
* Must have the manual dexterity to operate a computer and other
necessary office equipment.
* Must be able to tolerate areas containing dust, loud noises and
bright lights.
* Must be able to work varied shifts, weekends and holidays as needed.
* Ability to simultaneously manage several projects, and not be
frustrated by changing priorities and unforeseen obstacles to
achieving objectives.
* Ability to speak distinctly and persuasively.
* Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English

The Self-Sufficiency/Senior Services Department offers services to
help needy individuals and
families who are mostly immigrants and refugees and are limited
English speaking living in Cuyahoga
County. The Department provides employment services, job skills
training, vocational ESL, life
skills, assist individuals to access public benefits. In addition,
the Department is responsible for
congregate meal, socialization, and transportation services of older
adults.
Position Description: Under the supervision of the Manager of
Self-Sufficiency/Senior Services, the
Program Coordinator is responsible for conducting the employment
needs assessment of each enrolled
participant, develop an individualized plan of action for self
sufficiency and assist in addressing
employment needs. The basic responsibilities of the Program
Coordinator include the following:
* Conduct an employability needs assessment to determine basic needs
and level of acculturation
* Develop an individualized employment plan for self sufficiency.
* Identify and connect community and employment resources to support
participant’s and family’s
employment, acculturation and self -sufficiency needs.
* Assist individuals to access and remove barriers to public
benefits.
* Provide ongoing case management services to program participants
and their families
* Coordinate and supervise program activities, events and workshops
as assigned
* Attend all ASIA staff meetings.
* Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in social work with experience or a master’s
degree in public administration,
nonprofit management or social work.
* Experience in case management or social services
* Experience with and knowledge of the Asian communities is a must.
* Excellent written and verbal use of the English language.
* Must be bilingual in Cantonese or Fujinese

Location: Cleveland, OH
Job Summary:
You will ensure distribution and/or transmission gas volumes and
pressures meet customer and operational demands; maintain detailed and
accurate records of daily gas control operations.
1. Maintain accurate records of gas control operations; record and
calculate pressures.
2. Ensure gas volume and pressures meet market requirements;
coordinate with suppliers and forecast and adjust flow pressures and
quantities.
3. Monitor and maintain the SCADA System.
4. Ensure pipeline pressures stay within Maximum Allowable Operating
Pressures (MAOP.)
5. Analyze the transmission system and recommend or perform changes or
modifications to ensure a safe and reliable system; communicate
pertinent information and assist regional personnel during normal,
abnormal and emergency situations.
6. Direct gas flows and adjust pressures during repairs, outages and
emergencies.
7. Provide assistance and instruction to field personnel in the
operation of transmission, production, storage and distribution
facilities; dispatch field personnel as required.
8. Analyze gas control data and respond to SCADA alarms; determine and
implement appropriate corrective actions
9. Monitor, control, and document the transportation of natural gas
from supply to end user.
10. Notify interruptible customers as required.
11. Coordinate requests for natural gas flow and operating
information.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
＊Knowledge of gas transmission or gas distribution pipeline system
operations and pipeline network and facilities (e.g., compressor
stations, storage pools, production systems, etc.)
＊Knowledge of gas transmission or gas distribution company operating
procedures, policies and applicable regulations are preferred.
