Governor DeWine Signs Bills Into Law

   (COLUMBUS, Ohio)—Ohio Governor Mike DeWine signed the following bills into law:
   House Bill 188, sponsored by Representative Brian E. Lampton and Representative Jon Cross, prohibits insurers from discriminating against living organ donor.
   House Bill 272, sponsored by Representative Phil Plummer and Representative Haraz N. Ghanbari, requires online marketplaces to verify certain information regarding high-volume third party sellers of consumer products on such online marketplaces and to disclose to consumers certain contact and other information regarding such high-volume third party sellers.
   House Bill 138, sponsored by Representative Brian Baldridge, modifies the laws governing services provided by emergency medical service (EMS) personnel and qualifications for serving as a medical director of an EMS organization.
   Senate Bill 47, sponsored by Senator Andrew O. Brenner and Senator Bob Peterson, excepts traveling to and from a worksite and performing certain routine tasks from the overtime pay requirement and to prohibit opt-out class actions for overtime violations.
