St. Clair Superior Development Corporation (SCSDC) is paving the way
for change and improvement in Cleveland's St. Clair Superior
neighborhood. Our community has gained two new leaders following
SCSDC's Board of Directors' unanimous vote to install Terri Hamilton
Brown as Executive Director and Michael Niro as Board President.
Together, Terri and Michael are prepared to launch St. Clair
Superior into a new chapter, one that aligns with SCSDC's strategic
goals for the neighborhood. With Terri and Michael as our guides,
St. Clair Superior will become a stronger neighborhood where its
residents and businesses thrive together.

identify theft and other fraud. Learn about protecting your identity

Free Tax Preparation Assistance Programs - A variety of resources
are available to help low-income Northeast Ohio Residents with tax
preparation. Call 2-1-1 or visit Legal Aid's website for links to
tax preparation assistance programs in Ashtabula, Cuyahoga, Geauga,
Lake, and Lorain Counties.
Minority Men’s Health Fair - MetroHealth will be hosting the
Minority Men’s Health Fair on Saturday, April 27 from
11:00am-4:00pm. The event will include free health screenings, guest
speakers, various resources, a job fair, and more. For information,

Oberlin Community Services (OCS) 2024 Pantry Schedule - Open to
Lorain County residents experiencing financial hardship, the OCS
pantry provides free food items as well as some non-food items. For
more information, visit the OCS website.
Ashtabula Community Action Agency offering Head Start Program -
Available to income eligible families in Ashtabula County, the Head
Start Program is a free, comprehensive child and family school
readiness program. The program offers a wide variety of services for
families. To determine eligibility as well as for more information,

Legal Aid in the Community: Training, Know Your Rights and Resource
Fairs
Legal Aid provides training to providers and Know Your Rights
presentations to community groups on a variety of topics. Please
direct requests to outreach@lasclev.org and give as much information
and notice as possible. Also, if your organization is hosting a
resource fair to share information with people who have low income,
please consider inviting Legal Aid to attend. Send an email to
outreach@lasclev.org with all the details (date, time, location,
audience) providing as much advance notice as possible. If we are
not available in person, we can always provide materials.

Ashtabula County Veterans

prestigious hall of fame, this is Wu's third martial arts induction

The 2024 Class of the Cleveland International Hall of Fame will be
inducted on Tuesday April 23, 2024 at Windows on the River. Doors
open at 5 PM and the event starts promptly at 6PM.
Over 90 worthy candidates were submitted to be considered. Previous
inductees of the CIHF were asked for input and a committee worked
hard to whittle that number down to the 6 in the 2024 Class. And
what a Class it is!
