浦瑛開講:Midtown 隆重舉行

克利夫蘭Clinic foundation剪綵典禮

   Midtown 還幫助支持各個餐廳,Midtown 同時也關心幫助伊利華報。他們的目標是:努力規劃各個項目,他們爲居民提供小公園,他們在未來有20 項策略來實現Midtown的共同願景,Midtown的策略不是單一,而是相互關聯的,他們針對每個策略採取的行動都有可能推動中國城社區實現目標。

   Midtwon位于多個街區的交匯處, 尤其亞洲城、這里有3家超市,衆多的餐廳和各個族裔居民居住地,離克利夫蘭市中心特別近,有了Midtwon,繁榮了中國城

   這次我朋友Helen從克利夫蘭回紐約後給我寫了《紐約人眼里的克利夫蘭》:
   我在紐約住了15年了,也走了世界三十多年。第一次去克利夫蘭只是爲了看望好友”伊利華報”浦瑛社長。沒承想我這個地球人居然被大大地“驚艷”了一把- 這里有大都市的氣派,規模和規劃,又有小鎮的親切放鬆,整潔有序的氣氛,這里有保持完好的古典建築,各種獨特的文化藝術博物館,還有壯闊的大自然,有大湖大樹和大片大片的草地,它重視歷史的保留,把品味和生活和諧地融合在一起,眞讓我流連忘返。
   一下飛機就注意到克利夫蘭機場有去downtown 直達的公共交通,這是紐約到現在也一直沒解決的問題呢!回來下了飛機進入亂糟糟的紐約,懷念這幾天的美好經歷,唉!又要面對紐約這沒有什么質量的奔忙日常啦。
   其實克利夫蘭有世界頂級的醫院,有好學校,交通方便,相信不久的未來中國城會更好。
